Inspired by hearing the stories of "normal"/"hidden" citizens who stepped out when no one else was doing so--to lead--then, sometimes, to slip back into their private life, having been the voice for so many who couldn't speak, but, who in their hearts were shouting, "I'm in!" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "LET'S TOAST TO THEM!" Hi Tom,
A wonderful theme for the lyrics! I've met a few of these people over my working life, and as you say, they don't seek adulation, but just speak up or act for those that are unable to speak or act.
I guess we can't call them 'un-sung heroes' anymore, now that you have sung about them!

Great sentiment wrapped in a nice period write. Nice band and mix. The solo transitions are all super smooth. Super vocals, though the doubling sounds a bit out of place for this musical style. Super tune!

Hi Tom,
Great inspiration for the really nice song. You have a very pleasant, soft but engaging voice.
The background vocals on the chorus are nicely done. The false ending almost made me click off as it was a bit long.
The only suggestion I have is to bring the bass line up I think it would help to carry the song.

Tom,
Smooth tune and great message. Two suggestions. Sax sounds nice throughout the song, but at very beginning it's a bit distorted. Your fluid vocals are great, but I think the fx you are using a bit harsh. Chorus? I think it would sound better with more natural voice or simpler reverb. In any case, it's a wonderful song and thank you for sharing.
