Hey guys I haven't posted a song lately...being a full time caregiver has consumed me lately...but I haven't been idle...I've moved my studio in part to my bedroom...I do everything now with headphones (which I hate)...I bought a desk that straddles my bed and my laptop is the only piece of equipment (besides my Roland cp10) in the room.

I'm sharing today because I just posted my 500th song on my soundclick website (firesong.soundclick.com)! and I wanted that 500th song to be here for you guys to hear...confession: there are no BiaB tracks on this cut...I really don't have the time I need to work out a lot of tracks...so I've been using all AI for arrangements and the band as well as the singers.

I've formed several AI bands and five vocal groups that I use to demo my songs...this song which came up the 500th is being sung by a group I call "The Guys"...it's a tenor group of guys...the lead singer I call him Liam (named after my grandson)...I supplied the words and melody and AI did the rest...so...if you do...thanks for listening...Dan

We Will Know Him

BTW: my wife, M'Len is improving slowly...thanks for all your concern, thoughts and prayers...Oh and also all 500 songs on my site are free downloads along with 29 albums!! If you start this song and leave it going it will play all day and most of the night before it repeats.

Hi Dan!
I think your circumstances are well understandable (not having the time or space to fully outwork your songs), and I know from my own situation there will come a day when my fingers won't work - but my mind will still want to be creative. So while AI might not be ideal, good on you for still putting it out there and letting the creativity out.
Regarding your lyrics, I am sure your faith has a preserving effect on you and gives you hope, just as it may do for your listeners. Here's praying your wife continues to recover!

Hi Dan,

Yes, I saw your post over on FB that you had just released song #500!! Quite an accomplishment, and all good songs too (at least the ones I've heard wink )

Vocals sound great to me.

Very happy to read that M'Len is improving!

Hi Dan,
Was wondering about you; you've been missed. This is a beautiful, powerful and inspirational 500th song. Congratulations on that achievement! Glad you shared it even if it isn't using BIAB. It all sounds flawless. "We will know him in the way we have been known". Love that.

Dan, great to see you back! Glad M'Len continues to improve, that must be encouraging, even if it's slow. Also glad to hear you've found a way to squeeze music creation into your schedule. Know music has a regenerative power of its own. 500 songs is quite an accomplishment, CONGRATULATIONS! Looking forward to your next 500. Just don't drop them all on the forum on the same day. That would be a mess. Ha!

Encouragment and strength to you an M'Len, Dan. 500!! What a treat this 500th is. I've downloaded and often listen to many of them; I'm gonna have to get busy completing my collection. Every song is so uplifting and inviting. You're the best, man. An oasis of inspiration.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Hi, Dan.

I'm guessing that Liam is a Suno vocal, because it nails the lyrics.

Top shelf work, all around. Congrats on #500!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Wow, 500 songs.
I think I'm at 50 or so shocked
I'm glad you found a way to still create songs, this one is beautiful, and that's all that matters in the end.
All the best for your wife, even a slow improvement is still an improvement!

Dan

I saw this a few days ago, just now having the time to listen and comment.

As always, simply beautiful. Congrats on #500. Each one that I've heard is top shelf.

Delighted to hear M/len is doing better. Di, my wife, is hanging tough, but there's no cure for dementia. I wish your family everything good.

Alan
