When Janice sings, I even enjoy listening to Jazz music  LOVE those harmonies. Everything about this song gets 10 out of 10 from me, the lyrics, the arrangement, the production, the choice of instruments (both BIAB and Leon's part), and did I mention the vocals? This is fantastic listening.
The overarching sound is warm and engaging, and the lyric and melodic journey is soulful and heartfelt.
I'm not sure that it's possible for music to get any better than this.
The BIAB quartet is a perfect fit: (a) for Janice's outstanding vocals; (b) for Leon's very well crafted song; (c) Peter's highly polished guitar work.
Pulling all the individual components together is Bud's exceptional mixing. He really has the knack for getting everything to sit perfectly!
I really enjoyed sitting back with my eyes closed and listening.

I always enjoy Janice's vocals and Bud's bespoke mastering. Janice's vocal performance really shines on this track, and Bud's mixing brought out all the nuances in her voice. Thank you! That is very kind. Janice Smooth. So reminiscint of The Manhatten Transfer's treatment of some great standards like Blue Champagne. Fantastic collaboration. You are all stars. Janice is singing superbly, once more ... we truly are spoilt with talent, on this forum. I particularly loved her inflection on "They say a leopard can't change his spots" - clear, crisp, wonderful ... one example out of many. Leon's lyrics are beautiful, Peter is unobtrusive but vital, to my ears, to this track ... understated solos ... and Bud's mastering is stellar as usual. Congratulations, lady and gentlemen ... and thank you for sharing, we are all spiritually richer for it. You are so kind and I deeply appreciate it! Janice
