Hola, soy un viejo usuario de BB, lo uso desde los primeros... Me interesó siempre para practicar guitarra, mi problema es que desde hace un tiempo uso un ampli virtual (gitar rig) entonces con las versiones anteriores debía usar mas de un programa para hacer funcionar todo...rutear la salida midi del BB hacia otro soft multisesion (como nuendo o ableton) con instrumentos virtuales y en otra pista insertar mi guitarra con el vst... Lo cual me producía muchos recursos y fallas a la hora de interpretar un tiempo rápido....
Imagínense mi emoción al descubrir esta nueva versión...¡se le pueden incluir los instrumentos virtuales directamente y tiene pista para audio con vst!
Pero comencé a enloquecer a la hora del playback, ya que no puedo oir lo que ejecuto, debo grabarlo y luego reproducirlo...ahi no hay ningún problema funciona todo perfecto.
¿No tiene esta nueva versión la posibilidad de oir en tiempo real la salida de audio con el vst?
Está tan cerca de ser mi programa ideal, la verdad es que probé de todo y no lo logro, solo puedo oir la guitarra cuando activo la entrada en la consola de windows, pero sin el efecto vst que utilizo...
No se si esto le habrá sucedido a alguien y lo habrá superado. Espero que sí y haya una respuesta.

Hola Davinchi, bienvenido al foro. Como guitarrista te entiendo perfectamente, lo que buscas es monitoreo en tiempo real. Hay dos funciones de audio que al momento Band in a Box (BIAB) no ha implementado, una es el uso de multiples salidas de audio al mismo tiempo en tarjetas multicanal y la otra es el monitoreo en tiempo real de la señal de audio presente en la entrada de grabación, esta última característica fué solicitada por algunos usuarios e instrumentistas desde que se implementó el uso de plugins en BIAB, sin embargo luego se hizo presente desde la primera versión de nuestro programa RealBand el cual se suministra sin costo adicional con Band-in-a-Box. RealBand comparte muchas de las funciones de BIAB con las de un editor y grabador multipista de audio y midi especializado. Con RealBand es posible reproducir cualquier archivo o canción proveniente de BIAB y al mismo tiempo permite crear canciones introduciendo los acordes al igual que en BIAB, aunque de una forma un poco mas limitada, sin embargo las ventajas de trabajar en RealBand son muchas, ya que entre otras cosas permite configurar muchas mas pistas de intrumentos tanto MIDI como de RealTracks y RealDrums que en BIAB. Podemos por ejemplo tener dos, tres, cuatro o muchas mas pistas de RealDrums combinadas al mismo tiempo, mientras que en BIAB solo es posible una pista de batería. En RealBand podemos reproducir inmediatamente cualquier canción realizada en BIAB y escuchar la guitarra procesada por cualquier efecto o plugin deseado o varios al mismo tiempo, como el Guitar Rig o TH1 de Overloud. Yo he hecho en largas sesiones de práctica y estudio y cuando deseo enfatizar en la composición regreso a BIAB para aprovechar al máximo sus características en este campo.
En mi caso personal a veces me gustaría que BIAB permitiera la audición en tiempo real de los efectos, sin embargo para eso me he acostumbrado a trabajar con RealBand ya que con el puedo cargar cualquier canción de BIAB al instante. Hasta los momentos el equipo diseñador y programador de Band-in-a-Box ha preferido dejar esas tareas a RealBand como editor multipista dedicado, sin embargo no se descarta que dicha función sea implementada en futuras versiones. Te mentendremos al tanto de los avances al respecto.

Gracias Carlos por tu respuesta, ilusión y frustración simultáneas por tu comentario... Me puse a probar algunas cosas con RealBand pero no me llevo muy bien con el inglés (en realidad es un poco de vagancia nomás) y ya que tengo el Bandinabox en español... En fín, por lo menos se que puedo tocar y monitorear lo que me interesa en tiempo real.
Por otro lado estoy entusiasmado con los RealTracks y los RealDrums, nunca los había usado y me interesa la posibilidad de poder crear mis audios (ya que tengo buenas posibilidades de grabar).
Trabajo mucho con música y ritmos latinos y en las versiones anteriores me tomé largo tiempo en crear varios patrones, ahora los voy a tener que grabar con instrumentos reales.
Voy a ver si hay algún foro para compartir este material.
