Hi
I select a realtrack for a project and it shows up ok but as soon as I press play the selected wav reverts to the previous wav.
I've reinstalled biab but that didn't help.
Any advice please?

Please give the specific steps including Style used and how and where you select the RealTrack.
BIAB 2025 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 7 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus 192 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.

Hi Andy, if that track is frozen that would be the problem, I know that if a RT is frozen it will not change even if I select another RT.

Are you saying that the Realtrack you select is being substituted by another Realtrack when you press the Play/Generate button?
If so, it's possibly due to BIAB's default behaviour where BIAB will substitute a RT that the program has determined to be a better fit for the song's tempo. To stop this behaviour...
1) On a song-by-song basis, go into Song Settings (CTRL+N) and uncheck "Allow Realtrack substitution based on tempo".
2) To permanently disable it for every song... Select "Options | Preferences | Realtracks" and uncheck "Allow Realtrack substitution based on tempo".
Hopefully this helps.

Another candidate may be a .wav file in the project folder being loaded into the track as audio.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.

MarioD's answer seems the most likely. However, if unfreezing the track doesn't help, you can send the SGU/MGU file to support@pgmusic.com and we can take a look.
