Mario…you paint in pastels!! I’m always amazed at the soundscapes you create, and you’d never be musically type-cast, that’s for sure. Those mopey teens don’t deserve this quality of music!! Thanx Tom. Years of playing in wedding bands has exposed me to many genres of music. That plus my ambient and new age records and CDs have helped.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
