There were many issues that needed to be resolved to get BIAB 2023 working properly over Sonoma but PG Music and Apple eventually came through for us.

I know that the Notation Window in 2022 doesn't work; don't know about the rest.

Since Ventura, reverting to an earlier macOS is extremely difficult. It can be done but isn't for the faint of heart and Apple doesn't support it.

What you can do if you have the drive space is create a new APFS Volume on your Mac, download and install an older macOS and BIAB 2022 onto it, boot into that Volume and run BIAB from there.
Add, delete, or erase APFS volumes in Disk Utility on Mac

It's pretty easy. You can also get an external SSD and do the same thing if you don't have the drive space on your System drive.
