Another channel-swap and remix. I originally collected the David Gubler world trains photographs for my "Isle of Yu Train Ride", but I found they better suited this instrumental.

Hi Chay, Wow, you really captured that train-chuggin' feel with your instrument choices and rhythm. I could see all the scenery passing by in my mind's eye. It is a long piece; I'm wondering what a steaming-into-the-station break might sound like somewhere before the whistle blows and it's off again. But maybe keeping the momentum is better; I dunno.
Good track. I was excited when I read that you used Johnny Hiland for a soloist. That man can squeeze more notes in a measure than anyone out there. But what I heard was a little sedate for JH. Still, a good track.

Yeah, very cool images in the video, CHay. Man, I always thoroughly enjoy how you trades soloists --and you always pick the best of them. That percussion is like the guy shoveling coal to keep the train runing hot. YOu realy did a terrific job of capturing the feel and filling the video with the perfect illustration.
Enjoy whatever happens! marty

Chay, great build and superb job sustaining energy and interest across those 5.5 minutes. Mix sounds really clean. Like the glue that the bass provides across the sections. Another nice one!

Thanks, Beth. I think a station break would have interrupted the flow, but I used that last photograph to indicate the train arriving at it's sunny destination.

Chay, That is an excellent production. Love the video and mix. You have captured a really nice vibe & feel here. Bob

Thanks, TuneMonger. Yep, Johnny Hiland is an excellent guitarista. He's in my list of BiaB favourites along with Dave Cleveland and Danny Rader. I find Brent Mason samples are either excellent, as in the 1st solo here, or they're only so-so, though he is an awards winner.

Chay Enjoyed the listen Good mix Enjoyed hearing those guitar guys go at it .fj
Thanks, Floyd. I'm obviously a solo lover, but this track definitely needed a piano solo to give the guitars a break.

Thanks, Marty. Theoretically there shouldn't have been any coal shovelling in this piece as all of the trains in the phtotos are electric! The Gubler photography is so good they had to be used, but I didn't want to use them with my "Isle of Yu Train Ride" as that's even more steam-driven!

Thanks, Mario. Yes, those David Gubler images are really excellent. I mentioned 'world' photography in the blurb as I thought a couple were Asian, but they're all European. I list all of their locations in the YT blurb.

Thanks, Ron. Yep, that Tobin Frank bass goes perfectly with the Danny Favorite rhythm guitar to keep the tune chugging along.
