Hi all,
I only started to use the plug-in in Reaper for the first time today - I have all the latest versions on Win11 - and it took me a while and a lot of frustration to get it to work. This was more or less my fault, I loaded one BIAB file, 12bar blues with 2 choruses, and pressed the Generate button.
The 'problem' was that the default is/was to generate all pages, and the plug-in just kept generating tracks over and over again - until I had to kill Reaper. When I finally figured out to use the Generate menu and only generate the current page, it all worked.
I looked through manuals, videos, tutorials - but could not find any detailed information on what 'Generate all pages' actually means, what it does and how long does it run for? It puzzled me because it kept overwriting the same 4 RT tracks in Reaper.
Could I please ask for your assistance and explain to me what 'Generate all pages' means and does - and I hope it'll help somebody else as well.

"Pages" are the section on the right side bar - there's a page for the Style tracks, two pages for Utility tracks, and a page for Multiriffs. If you generate only This Page, it will generate only the tracks on the currently visible page. ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=30659&filename=page.png) Did your song have any instruments on Utility Tracks, or any Multiriffs?

Hi Simon,
many thanks for your reply. I thought I'd start with blank BIAB track, chose a basic blues style with 4 tracks, 12 bars, 2 choruses - something very simple. The songs I generally use are 10+ years old, they just keep getting slightly modified and saved with each new BIAB version. No utility, melody or any other solo tracks, just purely accompaniment.
I tested it out with basic Windows audio and then also with ASIO and additional VST3 tracks for guitar plug-ins - and, surprise, it worked perfectly for both This Page and All Pages. Excellent!
Hard to say what went wrong the first time, perhaps the SGU had an issue, or something within Reaper or the plug-in config - I did read the manual and looked at some of videos/tutorials and made a couple of changes.
Cool, no further help required but will get back to you, perhaps via the PG Music support line, if I have any other issues in the future. Cheers, Paul

I can't think of any settings in the plugin that would cause the problem you had, so likely it's something weird in the song file, or was a one-off issue.
