Hello?
This song was made in 1986.

I made this song while looking at the beach on a trip before I went to the army
It was the South Sea, but I still don't understand why it changed to the West Sea..

Any input, singing, arranging, etc. for music would be appreciated.

This is an excellent song.
Great arrangement and mix.
I can't think of a thing that would improve it as it is great as is.

I love the mix and production of this song, but I'm not keen on SynthV vocals.

Hi Asom2me!
Love the melody, words and supporting chords to your song. I’ve noted your songs have a certain melancholy to them - at least the ones I’ve listened to. I’m not saying this is a bad thing. You also must a deep back catalogue of songs - glad for you that you are recording these so they are not lost.

I found the backing to be a heavy style for the song, and wonder how it would come up with a lighter style?

Regarding synth voices, isn’t it good that we live in an age when we can draw upon tech that can do what we can’t - or don’t want to. BIAB is a good example of this.

Yes, that's right.
Most of my songs are full of sadness. I think I was influenced by the environment I grew up in

I don't really like the synthesizer's voice, but unfortunately, people around me don't like it

I thought it was great. Amazing you kept stuff from 1986. Synth voices don't bother me a bit anymore, I've completely adjusted to them.

Very pretty song, and nicely arranged for a grand effect. The electric guitar in the left channel is a nice subtle touch. Cool!

Hi Asom2me.

This is a nice sound. As Andrew said, the heavy rock backing might not be the best choice, but there's no major problem with that.

There are a number of lines where the vocalist isn't singing the correct words. For example, at 0:59 the lyrics say:

Silver seagull flies and little sailboat floats

which is a lovely lyric.

But then the vocals go too high to be intelligible, and there are prosody issues (emphasis on the "wrong" syllable"), which makes it impossible to figure out the lyrics.

And that's really too bad, because again, you've got some lovely lyrics.

I don't know that it's worth the effort to go back and change anything, because with the subtitles it's understandable, and the melody is good. Just be aware that because of the the prosody and pitch, it can be quite difficult to make out the lyrics.

Still, a nice song. smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Thank you very much for your feedback.
Right now, it's hard for me to sing the songs myself, but I made all the songs in the range that I can sing.
That's why I use synthesizer V, but I don't know the range of a woman's voice very well.
And synthesizer V doesn't support Korean yet, so I had no choice but to translate it into English, so there will be many awkward parts that don't match the pronunciation or grammar.
But I think it will get better little by little hahaha!
Thank you again.

Good song, aSoM. Man, you are doing a great job with those sythn vocals. I like all of the instruments you have in the mix. The guitar I would bring up a bit, but it was an enjoyable listen.

Enjoy whatever happens!
