When The Rain Falls This is my new track called "When The Rain Falls" "When The Rain Falls" is a smooth and nostalgic bossa nova-infused tune that captures the serene beauty of a rainy day. With gentle melodies and evocative lyrics, this song transports listeners to a place where memories flow as effortlessly as raindrops. This track was initially generated in BiaB, bossanova style. Then edited on Reason. The sax sound was taken from a Soundfont of Yamaha Tyros 4. Lyrics: A cool breeze flows through the air. The room feels chilly, crisp, and fair. Is the AC on? Or is it me? Imagining winds that roam so free. Oohh When I close my eyes, the coldness calls. Rain taps softly as my memory falls. I thought about my childhood, where I felt so free. When the rain falls, it pulls those days to me Chorus: The breeze hums low, easy, and light. This bossanova groove lifts me just right. I'm not sure what to do. Is it TV or radio? When the rain falls, it makes my feelings glow. Verse 3: The air whispers softly and gently. This groove lifts me up just nicely. I don't care if it's real or just in my brain. I love the instrumentation in this song. And the whole vibe definitely has the musical onomatopoeia of a gentle rainy day.

I agree with Waoband. The instrumentation is like a gentle rainfall. Such a lovely sound and a smooth melody.

Well sung and produced bossa nova. Great composition. I would like it even more as an old fashioned, not so sweatened versio without the strings etc.
One of my favourite records is Getz Au Go Go: the New Stan Getz Quartet (vibes Gary Burton!) featuring Astrud Gilberto recorded live in 1964 at Cafe Au Go Go, Greenwich Village, New York. If you can, please listen it and remix your fine song in that style. Then it would be perfect!

Not the style of music I would produce myself, but I do like to occasionally listen to other styles of music and this was very enjoyable. Listening this morning with my cup of coffee, you can't help but be put into a good mood. I like the rain sound mixed in at the end of the song.

I am a fan of the bossa nova. This is a terrific production. Everything came together well. The only thing I might say is that there are some terrific bossa nova soloists in BIAB that you might have employed, but not a big deal. Great work!

Noel, this is fantastic.
It brought me back to 1960's lounge scene with great music.
Outstanding vocal, arrangement, instrumentation, and mix.
Loved it.

Really nice composition, and sweetly arranged. LOVE your vocals, and that bossa bass really sets the tempo. Great job on the sax solo. Cool outro, too.

Right from the first 3 notes, I really like the melody. Excellent vocal, Noel. Good idea using the Bossa beat for this; it sounds so good. Yeah, I enjoy rain too and this is such a good song to show your own enjoyment of it. That sax sounds perfect, and I like how you kept her going like she had just one more thing to say about the rain. This is obviously a very relaxing kind of rain, the kind conducive to sleepy cuddlings. Next you should create a stormy one.
