Another channel-swap and remix, this track being the second of two instrumental versions of a song I wrote way back in 1974.

Piano: Solo Acoustic Piano Ballad ~ John Jarvis
Piano 2: Classic Rock n' Roll ~ John Jarvis
Organ: Dreamy Pop Quintet ~ Gene Rabbai
Bass Guitar: Ditto ~ Tobin Frank
Drums: Ditto ~ Brian Fullen
Acoustic Rhythm Guitar: Ditto ~ Jason Roller
Electric Rhythm Guitar: Country Rock Guitar Solo Pop Band ~ Darin Favorite
Tenor Sax Solo: Slow Country Pop w/ Tenor Solo ~ Mark Douthit
Guitar Solo: Modern Groove Soloist, Brit Rock ~ Dave Cleveland

136 bars; 4/4 G; tempo 125; Time 4:29

Chay,

This is a very cool piece...

Great flow and selection of tracks. The excellent mix feels very open and loose. And I love that laid back sax.

Chay, I really like your selection of RT's and how they were handled--brought together into a really nice mix.
My only suggestion would be, at the end, to let it go back to the "settled down" level of the beginning..but that's just my way.
This is a very enjoyable track!

Chay, very nice arrangement and super clean mix. Like the sax and guitar solos a lot. Definitely has your signature WaoBand sound.

Universal Psyche Media. HA, good one. Your mixes are always so clear, Chay. I like the way this one builds in volume and it seems like the piano is going wilder with the increase. Well done. Love the sax, too. It's amazing the session players we can get thanks to PGMusic. Not including studio time, this recording would've probably cost over 10K. Man, well done, Chay.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thanks, Bob! Whenever I play this track or the "V1" I automatically begin singing the lyrics, but it's so frustrating not being able to make a noise where I live. Last year I bought a new Fender acoustic to get me playing again, but I've hardly ever had it out of its case, and just today I ordered a new microphone with accessories as the one I have is missing a part, but I doubt I'll ever get the opportunity to use it. It's so frustrating as I have the BiaB files for 4 songs ready to start.

Thanks for listening and responding, Tano. The music basically follows the way the vocals song is sung and that's fast paced throughout. The "V1" instrumental has an even lighter start with just a piano before the rhythm section comes in, which is why I wanted to do this 2nd version with the rhythm section kicking it off.

Thanks, Ron! If I could record the song's vocals that would also have that signature sound. It's such a shame that I don't get the opportunity to even start, living where I live. I can't even get someone else to sing it, Fiverr or other, as I first have to record the song to show how it goes and if I could do that I'd sing it myself. I have a song I'd like Beth to sing, but I have the same problem.

Thanks, Marty! I can't express how grateful I am for PG Music and BiaB as living in a retirement flat with only plasterboard wall separating me from my neighbour I couldn't be creating music with it. With John Jarvis playing both piano styles in this track there appears to be no change from the main piano to the honky-tonk style, then back again.

That's some very fun piano playing. Amazing. It's kinda giving me "rolling credits" vibe after a really happy ending.

A good listen, Chay.
The build makes it seem to pick up speed to finish full-steam-ahead...

Chay, another RT masterpiece
Great use of RTs and the mix
Loved that B3 intro
The sax was spot on also
As was the guitar lead
I'm at awe on how you can mix so many tracks and have the mix perfect each and every time
Loved it

Thanks, Beth. Others have referred to the end of movie rolling credits theme, though I now can't recall which of my previous posts the comments were about, but I totally agree.

Thanks, Floyd. I think that's true of a few of my instrumentals: the tempo doesn't change, but the dynamics give that impression.

Thanks for the positive Mario, though now that I'm having to channel-swap and remix tracks I find I'm more and more critical of some of my mixes. In the remixing I'm having to spend days on some tracks as I'm always finding faults.
