Hi Jerry.

I'm pleased to read that you have solved your problem. Excellent.

Regarding 'Return to factory settings'... provided you save a copy of your song and a copy of your settings, you can always return to the originals if you need to. This makes using RTFS safe. The "MOST" option will reset BIAB while not resetting the audio and MIDI drivers. The "ALL" setting will reset everything including the audio and MIDI drivers.

In relation to my song... Synth V is marketed as AI. In reality though, it is more like a synthesizer to use in that it takes a fair amount of human input to get vocals to sound as fully realistic as possible. If you are interested in the software, it can be downloaded from Dreamtronics for a free trial and put through its paces. I find it a fantastic piece of software to complement BIAB. If you are interested in hearing more of Synth V, there are heaps of Youtube videos.

About the trumpet in What Do You Say... This is BIAB Realtrack 1974. In Reaper, though, I used a pre-effects volume envelope to adjust the volume of various sections of the audio so that it sound more like a live performance. The image below shows the volume adjustments for the track.
