As I mentioned in a post from last week, you have this knack to clearly, concisely, and correctly provide help.
My attempt to convert a 16 bar midi worked because I indeed had to select the the bars; whereas the conversion of a whole track didn't since I, too, assumed clicking on the track was sufficient.
