I haven't been on the board for a while so first off I want to thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. The problem was solved by going to: preferences-display then unchecking the "New line for every section" box. This removes the gray bars and makes it easier to read on the computer. Thanks for the picture and the solution.
Tony So I presume from your reply that the grey bars were on the Chord Sheet, and not the Lead Sheet (notation) display?
