Rock Star Not

Yesterday my arthritic fretting hand felt really good so I sat down and 4 hours later came up with this quick and dirty jam.

BiaB style - Tunnels Liverpool Pop w GTR solo
Tempo - 65 BPM
I deleted all but the following:
Drums - the RD drum track
Piano - EZKeys - Electric Grand - preset Standard
Bass - Ample Bass - preset - YingYang

I am playing my Xaviere 335 HB through Amplitube.

Let me know what you think of this 4 hour quick and dirty little jam.
All comments are welcomed.

Cool, simple mix and a feeling-full vibe throughout, the Xavi tone lovely. But what happened re the "4 hour"?! Has your clock or abacus got arthritis, too? laugh

It's 1969. The Fillmore West is jammed wall-to-wall and up through the balcony. The house lights are down, a spotlight illuminates the guitarist. Audience members raise their lighters and sway gently to the rhythm. The vibrations of Woodstock still echo. The Summer of Love is a not-so-distant memory...

Hey, that's where this song takes ME. So glad you had a window to work on this, it sounds fantastic!

Loved this Mario, got a great late 60's early 70's vibe and tone going on there imo. Excellent job sir👍

Thanx so much Chay. Actually simultaneously the batteries died in both my clock and abacus. I just can't count on anything anymore wink

Thanx so much Dave.

After hearing your outstanding guitar chops I would never had guessed that you had arthritis also.

Mine is so bad that I can't play half the chords I used to play. That is why I am doing more breath and keyboard controller.

I like those quick and dirty ones too. But I tend to not put them out for public consumption.

At almost 71, I'm just glad I can still pick up a guitar and play without pain.

Good job. That echo really worked nicely on the guitar.

Yeah, I know I oculd listen to anything you create --even it was 4 hours long, but this one is only 4 minutes. Oh, ya mean it took that short of time to make. Great effort, Mario. Good tone and feel. I think I'll listen to it 10 times.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thanx Herb. I'm 79 and there are days when I can play guitar and days I can't, or at least not play well. I can't play a lot of the jazz chords that I used to play but at least I can still play barred chords.

Thanx Marty. You are safe as I will never record a song 4 hours long! 3.5 maybe wink

Well Bud is older than all who mentioned age ... so there. smile

Great performances Mario.
Love that axe tone with the hair around the edges.

Nice dynamic mix too. Really liked the bass with the cutting but still fat tone.
Hard to do for me.

Excellent!

Hi, Mario.

The contrast between the mellow keys intro and the the guitar coming in with a screaming tone had me laughing. laugh

Nice melodic playing, with a few harder edged moments.

OK then, old man and Janice (ducking and running for cover) thanx for this wonderful review. I also liked the tone of the axe. The guitar was run through a custom Amplitube setting that I made.
