Some of the RT's do have midi data. You will need to check mark the "use notation," or something like that, in the Opt/Pref/Real Tracks set up. If the Real track writes the notation part, not all do, you can access that data later with a midi patch.
I will sometimes start a song with the 4/4 blank.sty and add each part as I go. You can use the Hybrid Style maker function to bring in certain midi parts, then add your RT's.
