Well, I think opening the BiaB file in RB would give better timing options when it came down to the audio/video timing. The time display can be set to frames for SMPTE. Not sure if BiaB can do that.
If you know what frame you want the scene to change on it makes things a lot easier. Just might get a better mix there also.
As far as video software, I'm not qualified to answer. I use a few, but haven't yet tried making a music video. More along the lines of just editing preselected music to fit a set length video(s). Anything I've had to do could be done in RB and Nero.
