The sound is in the count-in, so I can't mute the guitar part before measure 1, as far as I know. I can't see which track in the mixer, but I solo one track at a time, I can tell which guitar part it is.
I haven't tried returning to factory settings. How do I do that?

You can also try regenerating that part of the guitar track - highlight the track in the mixer, highlight bar 1, then press Ctrl-F8 to regenerate the selected area. You can also simply press F8 if you want more control over it.
As well, which style are you using? It may be a characteristic of that particular style or RealTrack, rather than anything in the program itself.

Volume Automation works all the way back to bar -1, which is the first count-in bar.

That's in the Options menu, under Return To Factory Settings. I wouldn't advise doing this yet though, as the problem is not necessarily something that is controlled by preferences.
I'm using _REGGAS2.STY. It seems as though when I do the Volume Automation, it moves the initial guitar strum right up to wherever I've "zero'd" the volume. Inherent in the RT? How odd...

I don’t know the answer but I have a few thoughts. I would first try changing the Count-in Option, to determine if I heard that sound on more than one choice.
We know a few things that might be relevant.
First, it is normal for a piano or guitar to play a pickup note. But this isn’t that, because it occurs at the beginning of the count-in and not the last beat.
We know that we often can hear an odd noise upon the song file repeating. This does sound more like that. And yet this is at the beginning of the song for its first time playing, not on a repeat.
So I don’t know.
BIAB 2025 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 7 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Presonus 192 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Slate VSX, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.
This is interesting as I set up BiaB exactly like your picture, used every count-in option available in preferences, and never got a guitar sound on any beat of the count-in. Did you save the song then reloaded it into BiaB? If so you may have a corrupted file. That is the only guess I can think might have happened.
This is weird.
{edit} Maybe someone could verify my findings.

Listening to your video again, are you talking about the ghost of a note immediately when the video starts - so right at the very first beat of the count-in?
If so, are you using any plugins in your mixer - particularly anything with a reverb?
If so, bypass the plugin and see if the ghost note happens.
