Best to use the metronome during recording until there's an update available. (and maybe setting the metronome to shut off after count-in, or setting it to an unused physical MIDI port if you want it silent, or setting the velocity of the metronome notes to zero if you want it silent). I don't think this is a new issue.
I think it has been around for a long time, but just not reported previously. Thanks.
