Redundancy

I am way out of my comfort zone on this one!
Band-in-a-Box has been accused of not being able to produce contemporary music. This is an old pharts attempt at disproving that theory. I'll let you be the judge.

BiaB style - Euro-Tek, Electric Solo
Tempo - 125BPM

I deleted the string track
Drums - the audio track from said style, cut and pasted in what you hear
The balance of the tracks are MIDI:
Bass 1 - Syntronic 2 - 80's and 90's bass
Piano - Synthmasters 3 - ARP Ah Story
Utility - Syntronic 2 - EDM Festival Stuff Arp

Via my keyboard controller I am playing the lead - VacumPro - Default and
Bass 2 - syntronic2 - Acumpinous Bass

See you at the rave!
All comments are welcomed

PS - some of you may not consider this music and that is fine.

Mario,

This is excellent. You extremely creative and I love the way you explore other genres. Awesome mix as well.

The one thing this tune needs is David Snyder on vocals. smile

Mario, this sounds GREAT! Really love your playing and wild instrument choices. You don't sound out of your comfort zone at all to me!

Is it "new" sounding? I'm a terrible judge of that. But it does remind me of Gary Numan or Kraftwerk, who aren't new, but they are timeless.

And so are you!

Thanx Bob, I'm glad you liked it.
If David wants to sing on this all he has to do is ask.

Thanx Ron. I have never done a song like this before so yes it was out of my comfort zone.

At 79 I have no idea if this is contemporary or not. I did listen to some snippets of rave music to get an idea on what to do however is it "new" or not, I don't know!

Like I wrote before, you do brilliantly outside of your comfort zone!

Mario,

I think your Zone is too big for you to ever get outside of it.
Rave.
Pump that Bass.

HA! Your Uncomfortable Zone is every bit as entertaining, Mario. I'd normally say, "Not my kinda song," but you have something special that makes it very entertaining. Reading the song title, I figured we heard this before. HEHE. Nope. Nothing like it.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Man, you have zero boundaries.
We enjoyed it after we got the monitors back up on the shelf!

Sounds a lot like what we hear on tv series nowadays. smile

Keep on looking for that elusive genre wall!

Thanx Janet and Bud. My wife Linda has set my boundaries and it is a lot like the invisible fence for dogs. Once I cross it I get shocked grin I'm glad you liked the song.

Hi Mario.

This is very creative!
It made me think that you've started taking the same songwriting vitamins that David Synder uses.
Your instruments were really well chosen.
You've certainly shown me another side to BIAB.

P.S. My feet are still tapping vigorously.

Thanx so much Noel. I have always said that with BiaB and a little imagination one can produce any music genre. I keep discovering new ones myself.

Hi, Mario.

Ha! That was fun.

I wouldn't know contemporary if it bit me on the nose, but it sounded a bit more '70s than current.

Time to break out the theremin! laugh

Thanx David. I really don't know what today's contemporary music is either. I listened to a couple of Rave's music and thought that I emulated it, however I don't know for sure.

Good idea! I do have a couple of theremin VSTis so maybe I'll do a 1950's be rated space themed song soon.
