Welcome back.

If you use a MIDI style and or midi tracks you can expect it to song "thin", or, midi sounding...... I haven't used any of the midi styles in a very long time, preferring instead to use the real tracks. Real track quality is absolutely amazing.

Essentially, the program has the same general GUI format. There's a bunch of new features and a ton of new styles and real tracks. You will like it a lot. There's not going to be a big learning curve to getting restarted. Just jump in.

You shouldn't need to reactivate your older version. It should run just fine assuming the computer is compatible. OS/specs, 32 or 64 bit. You know, all the tech stuff. The new version is compatible with all the 64 bit Windows OS on any modern machine. I think it might also have a 32 bit installer, I don't recall. That info should be in the adverts and specs on the PG site. Definitely go 64 bit if it's a choice you have.

I always advise people to go as far up the version list as they can afford.

Again, welcome back. Jump on in.
