Hi Beth!
Good to hear a new song posted by you. This has a good calming pace to the song - your calming vocals aided by the arpeggio harp and guitar. Did I hear the tubular bells make a cameo as well? Perfect!
Lyrically, I loved the positive and encouraging nature of the words, and the stand out was the line about expectation brings suffering - it is easy to suffer under the weight of our own expectations. Going with the flow can allow one to see the good in everything.
I found the last chorus to be hypnotically soothing - really good. The interwoven counter melody in parts added to it nicely.
My only feedback is the closing minor chord - I would have expected major - but is that a musical symbol about going with the unexpected?
