That said - I don't want to keep paying the subscription to have this feature for the many mp3's I have. (updated 6/15) - AND I don't want to be dependent on iTunes or Apple Music. I've had more crashing, lost of my large library, and 'conversion' of my local mp3s to cloud-based Apple store copies than I can remember. My 30,000 foot understanding is that the Apple eco-system is quite capable, polished, somewhat closed and pricey. But there is pressure to be 100% in. From your tagline, you are already a Windows user, why not jump to Android? Pandora and Spotify have free/commercialed versions.
