These are impressive layouts. Thanks. I hope that PGM staff are noticing. Oh we noticed alright. Had a meeting about it even. UI and UX are what we want to focus on next.

HI M, Your mention of Old Delphi is of interest to me. Is the program still written in this? Do you know of specific limitations of this?
I have suspected the coding language was very old. Rewrite required IMO. Cubase does this sometimes - takes courage.

Your mention of Old Delphi is of interest to me. Is the program still written in this? Do you know of specific limitations of this? Delphi (Object Pascal) is still being actively developed and its features are being enhanced. C is also old (1970's). Java is probably being considered as old too (early 1990s), The term 'Old Delphi' is only one forum user's comment. It could apply to 'Old C' or 'Old Java' too. All of these programming languages are still under continuous enhancement and development, right to this very day.

if anyone wants to learn programming this is a nice way to get into it from my initial look at it...and might help people get a nice appreciation of what pg have achieved with their software and the challenges. i believe its available for pc/mac/linux/raspberry... https://www.purebasic.com/lots of info on the net and you tube. one reason it seems that pb has an advantage is it compiles to standalone exe's with no dependencies ? there is a free version i believe to let people get their feet wet. so have a go if someone is interested in apps...and youll get a wonderfull new found respect for programmers lol. me...done enough coding in my life... i was lousy at it...too many late night 24/7 zillion line code projects... so i moved into mgt...lmao. if you really wanna get hot and heavy...code up a new operating system..lol..eg... https://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Computer-Operating-Systemand heres an alternative to windows that has a following of people around the world...lots of fun...and note its small size.... https://www.menuetos.net/screens.htmsee the net for more menuet info and reviews etc etc. there are other various alternatives to win...eg React OS. might be fun to try on a old pc you dont use anymore. happiness. om

There are limitations to using Delphi, just as there are limitations to using Java or C or Visual Basic or literally any other language. Not one of them is perfect, which is precisely why there are so many.

Many here probably know this already, but for audio applications, (C++) + (JUCE) + (JavaScript) = Power + Flexibility I'm an engineer and love equations
