When we have family get-togethers, it's disheartening to see all the young, and sometimes not so young, sitting on the couches, faces glued to the screens. There's so much wisdom and history that isn't being passed down to the next generation.

Good song.

This is so cool and wild. I love the way Janice sings the ooooo. The guitar solo is from another plane of existence. You hit the nail on the head with the scrolling zombies lyrics. Wild ending.

Janice, are you the reincarnation of Annie Ross?

Thanks so much for turning us on to Annie Ross.
I’m a big fan of Ella and Billie but was unfamiliar with Annie and I appreciate the comparison.

Glad you liked it!

Excellent song and right up my alley, the sad reality of your lyrics is unfortunately already a big part of our own lives.
Top vocals from Janice with all those beautiful bends, and Peter's guitar solo is as oldschool and atmospheric as it gets.
Brilliant.
And last but not least is Bud's great work in making all these tracks into one cohesive, professional sounding song.

First I loved the vocals, then a suitable change in rhythm, skillfull guitar solo with excellent sounds, back to sensual vocals, what more can you ask for a hit song? Maybe an old fashioned audience digging this kind of songs that would be hits in last century.

Really great arrangement and mix
The lyrics are so true, I have seen some close calls and accidents with kids paying more attention to their phones than their surroundings.
Loved it!

Thank you Mario. Us old boomers are getting cantankerous. smile

Yes, I have seen those zombies, even whole families, written one song lyrics about them and I recall another song on this forum handling the subject. But you are at home also with this modern theme, wrapped around an enjoyable blues rock band.

Great intro followed by the nice contrast between the first line of the beauty of the nature and those zombies that don't see/hear what a fascinating world of flora and fauna exists around them.

And I'm smiling from ear to hear when hearing those zombie effects, Janice's haunted voice and Peter's wild guitar. How can anyone sing so fluidly!? How can anyone stretch the guitar strings so scarily? The story and the music walk fantastically together hand in hand. Wild! And everything is mixed and played so well that I know for sure that you are not one of those zombies, you sound youthful and fresh, but beware the first bite laugh

First off, "Scrolling Zombies" is a stroke of genius! It's like a Gen-Z "Thriller," but instead of werewolves, we're facing the anxiety of endless feeds.

Janice, . Your vocals are a pure comedic gold! That "tap tap tap" could win awards for "Most Relatable Sound Effect of the 21st Century." And the "Ooo's" drip with enough playful irony to make Oscar Wilde blush. Your vocal performance is a masterclass in sardonic delivery! 🎤 👩 𝐒𝐭✰𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥

Bud, my friend, your production is tighter than a zombie's grip on a smartphone. 📱 Your lyrics are sharper than a cracked phone screen. "Earbuds have replaced mother nature's call" should be printed on protest signs, hung in art galleries, or, at the very least, tweeted ironically from an iPhone. It's a succinct and devastating diagnosis of our tech-addled times. 👋

Now, about those guitar solos,... Look, I'm torn. Peter... they're fantastic! Like a caffeinated guitar hero trying to wake up the comatose masses. But, selfishly, I was SO engrossed in Janice's lyrical takedown that I secretly wished for one more verse! It's like choosing between a winning lottery ticket and a lifetime supply of pizza. (◔_◔)🎸🍕

In short, this song is a masterpiece! It's the kind of tune that makes you laugh, cry (mostly from realizing it's true), and then immediately hide your phone in a drawer before joining a Luddite commune. Seriously, you guys are a songwriting dream team, and I salute your collective brilliance... before I get sucked back into the infinite scroll. 📜

My ears and my ever-shortening attention span thank you. 💯💥 👋👌👍

Yowzers! This review alone is worth the effort we put into this.

We are a bit speechless.

Suffice it to say the write up is extremely positive and supportive.
But it goes well beyond that as it is witty, full of cool metaphors and eloquently written.

We have shared it with family and friends.

Thank you so much from the three of us ... and, yes, beware of that infinite scroll. smile

Thank you for the positive and thoughtful review. We appreciate you mentioning the contrast between the Intro/V1 and V2. we had hoped that would work. And more thanks for mentioning the vocal and guitar. Peter is excellent at playing parts to support Janice’s vocal and the lyric. We appreciate all you wrote and we will definitely avoid that first bite. smile

Thanks floyd. Best write? Thank you particularly given that the further I got into it the more I thought about abandoning the motion. I feared some might think I’d resorted to AI. 🤪 We three appreciate the review!
