The synth voice is a good match for the piano and the melody. This sounds like a good show tune. The chord structure is compelling, especially coming through the piano.

Yes, YT often "sounds" better than Soundcloud.
The vibrato gives the impression of an older gentleman.
This has you "touch" in terms of chord progression...nice as always.
Personal hymnal style? Works.

David, I like it when someone takes the time to come up with the detail you do, when listening, so thank you I agree with most of that, particularly the lack of melody in the piano section. Also, once the voice comes back, it feels hurried to me, on a new listen. Would be better if I slowed that down to half speed or something ... just those few bars. So yes ... work to be done ... or I might just bin this song altogether ... not the best I've written, all in all, I think! The "can thelp" idea for Asterian is genius I couldn't find a way around that, at all. Bravo! Thanks again!

Beautiful and touching. Would be a great song for a musical and I think Asterian is a perfect vocalist to deliver your message. I can related to "I'm sorry, I'm a man, and we don't state/What we feel, out loud, it's just our trait". The simple arrangement works nicely, but maybe strings wouldn't hurt as a final climax. Anyway, your unique style is present and it makes this song a real treat.
