I was wondering about the differences in the stem separation options besides the fact that the Band in a Box option doesn’t separate the guirar
Since Rick suggested that AI generated music is prone to artifacts, howI would that affect the ACW
Oh, you mean
Audio Chord Wizard. Ok... none of that was clear. You might want to give an explanation next time instead of assuming that we are able to read your mind.
It's a good question but you may have to be the one to test this and let us know.
I have zero interest in downloading other people's music and splitting/reusing anything from tracks not belonging to my clients or myself.
Not to say I don't split stems—I do. I have projects going back to 1968 and a basement full of analog gear for playback. Much of it is only in Mono, Stereo or Quad. A typical request might be,
"Mike, can we fix the piano timing on ... (transcribed from a cassette PortaStudio)?" Nowadays, the answer is often,
Yes I can. Another use often concerns the person sending my church's music mix to the YouTube channel, always with the piano way up in the feed — he's mixing for inside the sanctuary where is sounds great. If I'm conducting, I want to hear a better mix so off to YouTube and seeing if I can fix something post-mix.
I have Logic Pro X but haven't used it for this purpose nor BIAB 2025. I use StagecraftSoftware, RX11 and Steinberg's SpectraLayers Pro, updating to v.12 an hour ago.
