One of the things that I find frustrating is that here and there it can play cuckoo notes. Notes that either sound bad, or that I don't want. Any of us with a long musical experience, if we had someone in our band playing like that, would get thrown out of the studio.

For now, I found a way to get rid of these occasional dumb notes: freeze the entire the track and regenerate only the bar where the cuckoo notes happen. I was pretty impressed to find this new feature in BB 2025 (I had an older version), most of the time I get these notes fixed.

Like you, I find the ability to partially regenerate is amazing. This ability has been part of the Realband's abilities long before it was added to BIAB. It was one of the reasons that after building a song in BIAB, I moved it to Realband to polish it up.

Another way to fixing unwanted notes is to use the "Autofix sour notes" option. Find out which track is creating the problem, and then activate the "Autofix sour notes" option for that track. The image below shows the process. When the Autofix feature is set to "Song chords", once the track is generated, BIAB then goes through that track and adjusts unwanted notes to match the chord's notes.
