Thanks for listening, Ray. When various comments are pro aspects and others the opposite I think that some of it is down to the system and/or app one is listening on. Once I have my samples arranged and mixed in Audacity and I think all is balanced I next find that when I play a WAV of the project in 2 Windows players and my preferred VLC player some solos can sound way too low or high in volume, plus I hear different things when I play a track at low, medium and high volumes. I do a lot of testing, mostly having the new track in a playlist so I can make comparisons, but all too often when I upload a video I've approved to YouTube I suddenly hear anomalies I didn't spot previously during numerous listens. Floyd has said he experiences the same.
