Beautiful song with starkly beautiful imagery. You and Joliz crush the vocals, too. Very nice, spacious arrangement, and great use of BiaB instruments. Thought I was hearing your trusty D-18 in the opening, but that must have been the baritone acoustic. That long, held pedal steel creates a really nice atmospheric vibe, too. Anyway...superb song!

Another great real life road story from you two. Themes of travelling (or transport) seem to feature heavily in your songs. I love the line …

There were times in the song when Joliz’ vocal merged seemlessly into the pedal steel.

Yet another brilliant song - 'poetry Americans' music - always sung with such feeling, and of course the Joliz harmony vocals always 100% suit and add.

Vivid imagery that had us seeing the knight in shining armor updated to a knight in leather on his Harley. The lovely vocal arrangement made us feel the melancholy of the California dream being just a dream. This one again reminds us of Daniel Lanois productions. The song breathes so well. Love the baritone guitar and that pedal steel so well captures the narrative's vibe. The mix you wrapped it all in is excellent ... that bass cuts perfectly as does the snare.
