The Right Track Bud wrote this with our friend floyd and J&B posted it nearly 10 years ago. Including co-writes, swapping harmonies, etc., we’ve done 90+ collaborations with floyd over the past 14 years (likely a surprise to newer members). This was one of the first songs we distributed to the streaming platforms. Even though it was already “out there” several years ago we asked if our friend and music partner Peter would play guitar on it and, as always, he provided us some fine tracks. Recently we decided to replace the older version on the streaming platforms with this one and thus did a complete remix and mastering with all new effects. So having blathered all that here it is (BTW mr jane posted his version three years ago). If you choose to listen your time to listen and hopefully comment is much appreciated. Great song! Soulful vocals and smokey, liquid guitar work. REALLY nice production, and the arrangement is oh-so-tight with no wasted motion. LOVE Floyd's subtle harmony lines, too. Superb work by all!

Janice, Bud, Floyd & Peter,
This sounds absolutely amazing. The remix and mastering is pro all the way. It sounds like it was done at a major studio. Bud is a musical engineering wizard.
Janice is singing like she means every word and the harmonies here are also exquisite. Peter knows exactly what to play and where to place his lines for maximum impact. Great stuff!
I love everything about this! It should be playing EVERYWHERE!

J&B, floyd...every aspect is so finely crafted...lyrically impeccable and a super blues rock melody, arrangement and performance...Peter killed it with a perfect match to the other tracks...great vocal J...and B as usual you know how to write and handle everything so proficiently...great job guys!

I wasn't forum born 10 years ago, but on this version... well, I can't imagine it without Peter. Man, I love the write with a feel that grabs ya and the lyrics keeps you engrossed. I think this one is my new fave of yours. It speaks to me; been looking for my 'right track' for years now. I love the chorus. I'm hearing a higher harmony...an option, anyway...or maybe existed in an earlier version.

Hi, J&B. Big production, clear sound (because of Bud, of course), everyone sounds great. Janice and Peter emote like no one else. Sounds like the guitar was always supposed to be there. I'd mention floyd, but he does such a good job blending in that I wouldn't have noticed, which is what BGVs are supposed to do, right?  The only thing that has me puzzled is why Bud gets credit for the photo, but Janice gets no credit for being in the photo?
