I can't believe that I'm the first to post this here.

As one of millions being bombarded with get rich quick schemes promising systems where I learn to let AI do all the work while the money just rolls in, one thing has been bothering me (even if I believed these "money-for-nothing" schemes):

Since AI cannot be copyrighted, it cannot be owned. I've been wondering when Google was going to wake up to the fact that they don't have to pay for it. Well, Google has woken up.

YouTube Will Not Monetize Content Featuring AI-Generated Videos from July 15, 2025

YouTube prepares crackdown on ‘mass-produced’ and ‘repetitive’ videos

YouTube policy updates

None of this is likely to stop the videos and the get rich quick ads. Neither will it stop Google et al from monetizing it. But, when people discover that they aren't getting paid for their zillions of views, perhaps the internet will become just a little better.

I'm planning on launching a couple of new YouTube channels soon with my own content. Frankly, I'm a good enough voice actor that I've never considered AI content or voices.

This is the best news I've read all week!
