My sentence "This would work on the MIDI in the track only and NOT song-wide" was meant to answer this, And yes I just want - in the case of (*in this track only*) deletion - the MIDI after the range to be deleted to move to the left. Why - well sometimes editing mistakes get made etc etc.

This is a local ripple delete as opposed to global - just to avoid the other - typical tedious thing of manually selecting EVERY MIDI event after the to-be-deleted time-range and then..., very carefully,... dragging everything selected to the left. or vice-a-versa if wanting to insert a gap
