The sole reason for this is so that I could somehow use a favorite arcane phrase "Mox Nix"!
(I wanted to sneak in "the Schneid", but that will have to wait for another project!)
-------------------------------------------------------
Mox Nix, Chickie

When you told me that you had to leave me,
It didn't knock me out...I guess I
Always understood the kind of girl you were,
And I can do without you.

I figure:
What's to lose? No regret!
Do I care? I do not!
It's no sweat off my back;
Go! I'll soon forget;
MOX NIX, there are lots of chicks.

I'm not gonna make believe I'm hurt because I'm not
So don't applaud yourself;
You're not that
Beautiful or sexy or so rare--
You didn't spring the snare.

I tell you,
Nothing's lost, no regret!
Do I care? I do not!
It's no sweat off my back;
Girl, already back on track;
MOX NIX, there are lots of chicks!

Fun and different narrative indeed.

That's an excellent group of BiaB session guys.
Kudos to the sax player.

And what matters smile to us is that this a fun production.

Well done all around ... write, performance and mix.

Hi Tom!
Here you go being versatile again! I like this a lot - love the change into chord sequence in the chorus. Liam's vocal suits the song I reckon - obviously a few tweaks required, but works well to demonstrate the idea you have. Well done!

Okay, yeah I had to look up the words, and I'm glad you managed to get them into a song, although it doesn't matter. There are lots of chicks. Cool song, and I like how your humor carries over to the production. Excellent vocal too.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Tom, a real toe tapper
A fantastic job on the synth vocal.
Great use of RTs - the sax and guitar leads are super - brilliant.
Great mix
A really good song.

Tom, really nicely put together. Unique but quite likeable band arrangement that sounds great. Cool, clever and, yes, silly lyrics. Vocals sound good and fit the style well. The "sweat off" line is a bit rushed and more noticeable since it's the chorus. A+ song!

Tano,

What a cool mix right out of the gate! Great piano choice, cool sax, slick groove . . . I'm not familiar with the phrase, but it sets up a refreshing theme for a song . . . Really like the write and you do a great job with the synth vocal. Well done!

Excellent song.
I'm not fussed on the sax intro & interludes.
Is the vocal slightly to the right? Could be my ears.

Cheers

Well, that was a fun listen! Nice write. Needed to google "Mox Nix" wink

Synth vocal sounded pretty good, as did your choice of the BIAB instruments, guitar was right on the money, sax too.

Good song. Enjoyed!
