I am seeking an experienced player to help me learn the features of Band in a Box. I am older and a guitar player. I live in Orlando, Fl am willing to travel and pay for instruction. If you want to travel to Orlando thats fine and teach me here. Will pay someone cash for their time, was hoping for at least 2 days of instruction.
The online tutorials are not helping me and i need someone patient.
Band in a box staff suggested i post this on the forums and they do not offer training as a service of the company

Would be nice to know exactly what you are trying to accomplish with BIAB. Fact is BIAB is a tool that can help you with many aspects of music making. But like any tool, no one tool does it all. One of the unique features of BIAB is that it does try to be all things to all people. So it does attempt to perform music making tasks which are simply better done by other tools. Which is why many many of us supplement BIAB with alternate better suited applications. Which is why you will find few who will committ to being able to instruct you in ALL aspects of BIAB. Much less fly into Orlando to sit down with you. In my case I have worked with BIAB for over 25 years. So I can likely claim I know this software well, however, after all this time I find I actually use BIAB less and less due to the fact that what I need to accomplish in my music making is better achieved by alternate tools. It all comes down to what you are trying to do with BIAB. If you can detail some of your goals, perhaps I could (or someone else) set up a zoom meeting to help you better understand how BIAB can help you reach these goals. Good luck. In addition to hearing about your goals, is there anything you can tell us about your learning styles? Can you elaborate why the videos do not work well for you? What have you tried already?

Also I would like to add what is your musical experience? You mentioned that you are a guitarist. Can you read music? Do you know music theory? Can you construct chord progressions? What is your level of computer knowledge? The more info you give us the more we can help.
In all reality with the videos that have been listed and the friendly people on these forums I doubt you would need a BiaB instructor.

The online tutorials are not helping me Would you mind telling us which tutorials you looked at and how they were unhelpful? I've personally made many of the tutorial videos, and would like to know areas where we can improve on them.
