Many use BIAB in very specific ways. Others just scrape the surface. I used it to make backing tracks and originally I used it to send midi commands to my gear. Then I used it for basic songwriting - as I'm a beginner in that area. You may also find that there are other products that do exactly what you need that don't require a massive learning curve - and it is massive. Then BIAB can remain just a fun product to explore and enjoy.

BIAB does a whole lot of stuff.
There are often numerous ways to do this lot of stuff.
For example, If you want to make backing tracks there are a lot of folks who do that.
But some of us who make backing tracks do NOT use midi. I am one of those people.
There are others who ONLY use midi.
Then there are even others who use both… Children of Satan…. Or perhaps Santa.

Point is, there’s a lot BIAB can do and the idea of learning everything that’s possible seems overwhelming and I’ve been using for over 30 years.
