Extraordinary. You are in a class of your own.

Loved the percussion introduction, in the third verse. Loved the introduction of "you", in the second person, in the fourth verse.

The lyrics are nothing short of astounding. The musical writing is right up there, genuinely phenomenal. And your voice, Bob ... blooming heck. You just ... talk, whether you're actually talking or singing. You tell the story. I want to cry when I hear your vignettes, your snapshots of people in time.

"She says she’s going to Paris and Spain someday
But her passport’s expired and her hair’s gone gray
She says “life’s a curse when you’ve got too much soul”
Then she laughs at herself and plays some rock and roll"

Joliz adds an ethereal, otherworldly atmosphere to the song. It wouldn't be nearly the same without her part in this song. Beautiful singing, beautiful atmospheric contribution.

Nothing more to say. Oh, ok, one thing: whatever you do, don't lose these songs. These, if there's any justice in this world, will be worth a mint someday - quite apart from their priceless artistic value. Regardless: please keep them. Others need to hear them, and they deserve being heard.

Hats off.
