Elevator Music Song started by brain-storming a title, then developing the story concept and the music. ------------------------------------- Finding it quite amusing Listening to what they say; Seems to be a bit confusing-- The beat-box is king today; Everyone talks down to the strings, "Gentle" and "Sweet"'s had their day; But the bossa still makes them sway. ------ Bobbing their heads to the hip hop; Hardened and tough's all they play; Then the atmosphere turns Brazilian And I try not to look their way. Sneaking a glance from the edge of my eye, I see their persona's betrayed; Cause the bossa still makes them sway. -------- All the way up to the penthouse, Loving the groove as we rise; I only know it's "The Red Blouse"; Everyone smiles with surprise. Excellent chord structure, instrumentation and production, but you really need a vocalist like Astrud Gilberto for a song like this!

Personally, I think it's more bar than elevator music, relaxed and quite soothing.
Some of the chord changes are a bit bold for my personal taste, but I still enjoyed listening to it.

Fun mood. I can see couples dnacing in the elevator and thy keep pushing another floor when the door opens. Well crafted, Tom. My favoriite chord is the F#m7sus on the 4 beat. Cool transition. Love the style and you gave it a wonderful whirl, Tom. Nicely done.

Now that was cool. We had to pause the elevator at the top floor to listen again. We agree with Mario, "loved the touch of The Girl from Ipanema near the end - brilliant." Excellent tune. Elevator music is how I described all my instrumentals when I started posting in the forum back in 2011. Did not have a clue what genre I like to play. Still not there yet. Wild chord progressions. Really well done
