Hello everyone

this vst3 i ve waited so long 10 years for jamming online when missing a drummer or a bass player ..

here it is ... but still not working the way i was expected cry ...

generating a new song is quite long .. so i was expecting to save it, and being able to play it next time directly

but no not all ... i Always need to generate it again and again ...
Not sure to understand why it still isnt possible for biab to save such files.

Did i miss something i read view all tutorials without being able to find something about

If you have some tricks to do it ...

I am on reaper with Biab last version

Thanks for your help !!

"...The latest Band-in-a-Box® DAW Plugin introduces powerful new features compatible with all DAWs. It offers fast, ".WAV-less" generation, enabling tracks to play directly from disk without generating .WAV files. Sync playback seamlessly with your DAW..."

This claim was essential instantaneous. Are you using this feature?

I don't quite understand the question. The plugin, even in generating wavs, is super fast. Once the tracks are generated, you have to place them in Reaper as simple tracks and save the song. This way you don't have to generate it every time.

Hi Armand,
Moutipass gave you the answer to your problem. That is generate the tracks then drag and drop them into Reaper. Once in Reaper they do not generate and will play instantly. Note that I always drag and drop BiaB tracks into my DAW and finish my songs in my DAW.

Doing the above also eliminate a slow generation, especially on an older slower computer.

I hope this helps and good luck.

Armand.

heres an option.
heres what i do. (ive used reaps since it came out v0.99).

i have tons of tracks in realband versus bb....up to 255.
so i just drag the rb tracks into reaps once i'm happy.
thus i got the best of both worlds...viz..the power and features of rb and the power and features of reaps.
works for me useing the plusses of each.
just make sure the tracks in rb are saved into the same song dir as reaps uses....and away ya go.

just an idea.

happiness.

)

thanks all for your help !

Moutipass and Mario could you precise your answer
if I decomposed the actions

1-we generate the song after choosing our style and number of chorus ( you confirm we have to do this step = 2 minutes for me 16Go RAM and cpu i5 3.4GHz )

2- i drag the tracks in reaper
3- i play the tracks with th vst3

to save the song you mean in the vst3 .. this way i have to do the same steps when i want to play this backtrack again.

Such a pity we cant save tracks when saving the song in the vst3..

thanks to correct me and advice for upgrading my pc if it could really help

Best regards

Armand.

hi...re differences.

there are sooo many diffs tween bb and rb that i would be typing reams and reams and take me hours of typing.
just read the manuals for both bb and rb.
its the only way.

tbh ive been bugging pg for some time to create a table of differences tween bb, the bb plug in vst and rb and put it on this pg site.

happiness.

Armand, once you drag the tracks into reaper you do not need the VST3 anymore just play ion reaper. Also once you generate in the plugin version of BiaB you do not have to generate again just save the song. If you are talking about the Full BiaB program then generate and save. then hit the play button not the play plus button
