Hi Arri! Tomppa is a good vocalist find! The waltz style is great, as is the band, and love how you complement the style with your own playing. For the lyrics/storyline, the fellow was what we would call a 'player' (playing the field), but in this case, the player got played! Importantly, I note the number of verses is limited to the number of natural hair colours.  Regarding the guitar tone, if I am looking for something more mellow, and assuming I am playing clean, I pull the tone down, use the neck pick-up, and play up the fretboard from 10th fret of higher - this gives a nice mellow tone - not trying to suggest I am in anyway an expert!
