The world just lost one of the greatest satirical singer-songwriters of all time. I've been a fan for over 50 of his 97 years. I only found him after he stopped writing new songs, but wow, what a catalog of brilliance. Rest in peace, brother. You were and will remain loved.

He was a very funny entertainer as well as a very brilliant man.

RIP Tom

Geez - is there anybody left?

I used to listen to his satire on NPR. Goodbye Tom.

Have to admit I don't recall this guy. He is just a little before my time. But there is no denying that he was one talented dude! Rest in Peace.

A couple years back he released all his songs into the public domain, and made them all available on his website with a "get them now before the site shuts down" message.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Thanks for the heads-up! I just downloaded the album MP3 files, but downloading the lyrics PDFs of all of his songs is going to take awhile. For anyone else interested, here's the link to his website.
