I've talked with our resident Synth V expert, and they told me this: So while Synth V has a plugin, it doesn't read MIDI on the actual track. You have to import it into its own interface. If you want to use Synth V as a plugin, you have to export the MIDI to a file then import it into Synth V (either the standalone program or within the DAW as a plugin). Hope that helps!
