A special quality to this one, Herb. Excellent lyrics, and like you, I find them very relatable. Some of the isolation is forced, some because a lot of friends have died, most by chioce.
Instrumenation is also special here. Well mixed, too. I love the force the pedal and harp bring to the song, and how the honky-tonk piano has the last word. I wasn't here to hear Eddie, but now I wish he'd come back. Glad he got one to the right guy, Herb. Thanks. Yeah, me too.
