Yes, I love that RealStyle! It has a syncopated feel to it that gives the music a sense of motion and compliments the theme of the lyrics - being carried forward through generations. Because that rhythmic strumming is ever present, if you were looking for some texture, you could replace with a series of single held strums in one section and then bring it back in again, musically representing as it were the ebbs and flows of life.

I find it interesting that lyrically the song is about ancestral influence and journeying therefrom, and your lyrics have sat unused from your own past, but now to rise in song - sort of a parallel story on two levels.

For your last line and outro, it gave me the impression of walking through that door into a place beyond the listener but a new chapter yet to be heard. I’m not sure if this is what was intended, but that’s how it came across to me.
