AH, there's no such thing as writer's block, James. Creativity flows like a river and sometimes it flows through us. The worst we can do is imagine we lost it. It reinforces it's absence.

Hey, if ya want to be creative, listen to what you've already done, James. Yeah, creativity is within you. IT'll come out when you're ready. And, man, you were definitley ready when this one came out. What a beautiful piece of music. You gave it a cool waltz feel with your Delsono changes, and added some absolutely wonderful instruments with meodies that can take one away to a world were things are the way they should be. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thanks, Deej! Really kind of you to write so nicely about my song. It's the cor anglais, not the clarinet, but yes - could have indeed managed those transitions a little better. Don't worry about getting nitty ... I like hearing all feedback! Thanks so much once more for listening!

Thanks, David Cuny! I suppose I should have tried to shape those notes a little (maybe with the fader effect?), but I'm glad you liked the track! smile Thanks for listening!

Marty,

You read me like a book, by now. You know EXACTLY what this song was about. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. You are, of course, spot on about writer's block not really existing, and how to make the most of one's creativity, such as it may be. And yes, this piece was very much about a world where things are as they should be.

You are so perceptive ... wow. AND you're kind. THANK YOU for an absolutely wonderful feedback. I'm grateful you enjoyed the sadly only too temporary break from the harsh "reality" of things. Quotation marks very much intended, and I'm sure you understand why. God bless.

Hi James.

This was a nicely enjoyable, relaxing listen.
Songs written in compound time signatures always enchant me.
You created a very pretty melody and supported it with well-chosen harmony.
Another fine addition to the James Delsono Songbook smile

All the best,
--Noel

A beautiful and very relaxing song with smooth transitions between the solo instruments [Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]
It would fit well in a nature documentary, such as those the BBC used to make.

James,

This is one of your very finest musical creations! You wove the various instruments flawlessly. This has such a lovely and comforting quality about it.

This was so settling as I recover from Di's passing. It gave me an emotional but encouraging sigh. Thank you!

Gorgeous and so well done. Most excellent work!!!

Best to you,

Alan
