Unlike some of the others who've commented, I have to admit to not being a blues girl and yet, I know a good song when I hear one. This was smokin'. Love the character, love the shuffle. Love shuffle blues! A really nice lyric. Very creative use of words. But that's what you do. And it so damned good.
You might consider giving that lead guitar guy a raise - he outdid himself.

Brilliant, floyd. A change of pace, so well done. You rock. That guitar of yours, too ... wow. That voice of yours, and its tone, could sing the phone book and make it sound amazing. And these lyrics are certainly no "just a phone book", either.

Amazing blues, and if you had written that the solo was by Brent, I'd say "Of course it was Brent". Really well played, all the right notes and nothing more, with a great tone. First piano, now guitar – if you keep going at this pace, you won't need BIAB anymore soon. Floyd the drummer. Ha!  Very much appreciated. B.D…. I’ve moved on to bass. My wife says “Don’t even think about drums, mister “ Floyd, an excellent wordsmith/story teller, arranger, vocalist, and now an outstanding guitarist.

Loved that groove and the song Thanks, Mario!!…. With just the right amount of delay & reverb....keys to the kingdom.
You've come a long way it a short time...though I've no idea of your real starting point.
I did anticipate a horn section at some point due to the lyric but that was neither essential nor missed.
Wailing on the way out too.
A dance track in the best sense. Starting point was pretty much “no clue” I did consider horns but decided I had already bitten off enough Appreciate it

Brilliant song lyrically and a great production. The theme totally demanded the 3 solos which I 100% enjoyed. Excellent stuff. Thanks, Chay!... YEAH!! Your guitar playing is bringing this to a super high level. And I really like howyou mixed the B3. WOw, what a fun song. Love the feel and your always perfect lyrics. You kow how much I enjoy your vocal, but, man, you really are doing a fine job on guitar. Same FJ gret taste and your tone is engaging. You have a real finesse in playing each note.
