Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum, but have used band in a box for some time now. I am trying to remember how to mute some instruments during the song. I seem to remember typing something like .dp to silence the the drums and piano (for example), but for the life of me can't remember the correct method. Muting them in bar settings doesn't work for me as I need the tacets to be reflected in the notation. An help would be most gratefully received. Welcome to the forums, even though not to BIAB itself. There are several methods to achieve what you want. If you wish to only mute some instruments on a specific bar, enter the chord data followed by a rest (period character) and the characters of the instrument you wish to play. For instance, typing `C.bd` would play a C chord and rest all tracks except for Bass (B) and Drums (D). Tracks can also have volume automation applied from the Tracks View display.
