And thank you, Ember. In case it helps, as AudioTrack mentioned, this has been discussed here before. Two things: first, I think I recall some commitment to look into it was already hinted at by PG Music. Second, in the prior discussions I think there might have been mentions of other digital audio software either doing this, or considering it.
To my fellow users, can you assist here by citing other software already doing this? I recall there might be drum software that might be able to recognize patterns. Just yesterday I was thinking how nice it would be if I could describe a beat, or play a sample, and have BIAB find some recommendations for RealDrums. Maybe you mean EZ Drummer by Toontrack, there are several threads about its search functionality, for example: https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=746036#Post746036
