Nicely done. My wife likes to watch a series about humming rocks up in the hills that are portals through time..... and yes, conditions have to be right and other conditions met for them to hum.
Normally, I'm not a fan of sound effects in a song but this one just worked well.
I enjoyed the listen. I'll have to listen tonight on my headphones.
Edit: I had a chance to listen on cans. Panning is nice. The footsteps sound more like static in the mix. I guess due to the crunchiness. It wasn't as obvious in the speakers as it is in the cans. It's almost like water but not water. Thanx David. Those footsteps were the best I could find for walking on a forest path. I agree that in the cans they do sound more like static than footsteps.
I think my wife has started to show the first signs of dementia. She said she can't remember what she ever saw in me!

Hi, Mario.
Interesting idea, well done.
The ambient walking works well, but like Ray, I think it would be more effective to have kept the spoken bit much shorter. Thanx David. I guess I did overplay the spoken part. I'm making a note of that just in case I do another song similar to this one's theme. Thanx for the suggestion.

Another excellent and dreamy sousndscape, Mario, but as I don't get a spooky vibe from it I agree with Marty: "I would've thought the voice would be calling rather than warning." Thanx Chay. My thought was that the walker's inner voice was doing the warning. That is something I probably should have put in the song's description.

Another journey into the unpredictable and madly creative mind of Mario! I do agree with Ray that the loops started to become a bit distracting, but I appreciate the concept and the direction of your project. Loved the choral/symphonic components. I learned that orrinshire is a village in TN, but I felt like you were taking me on a trip to the Isles of Langerhan, or somewhere just as mysterious. Great work..keep surprising us!!

Thanx so much Tom. "Another journey into the unpredictable and madly creative mind of Mario", you really don't want to get to close to my mind. Trust me on that. Unfortunately that footstep loop was the only one I could find that fit walking in a forest. I will admit that it is distracting so maybe I should have put it at the start and ending and not in the entire song. I wanted to give the effect of walking from one side to the other and probably shouldn't have. I asked the Fantasy Place Naming website to give me a fantasy name. I had no idea it was an actual name of a village in TN!

Cool ... a bit on an ancient take on a blackhole gate to, well, somewhere. Fun backstory indeed. The loops are great. Nice BiaB session guys and you conducting the EastWest's Fantasy Orchestra. Enjoyed it! J&B

Hi Mario, Really like the ethereal bits and moments of dissonance...the beckoning with a hint of malfesience. But I agree with Ray that the ASMR was a bit overpowering. Less is perhaps more? That said, the "you better run" was pretty damn cool. Can I say damn here?

Fantastic!! You have create yet another moody piece that would fit perfectly in any blockbuster horror/fantasy movie. Love those sound effects, adding both creepiness, excitement and beautiful landscape. Enjoyed the mysterious journey, I'm trying to run for my life, but I don't know where is the tunnel and if I should go there Janne

I was waiting for that 400 bpm you listed, but it never came. Oh well. Nice to hear you're getting some use out of the EW fantasy orchestra. Good work!
